Leading the Year
If the chaos currently engulfing Congress as lawmakers try to avert a federal shutdown is any indication as to what Donald Trump’s second presidency might look like, 2025 is shaping up to be a dramatic year. While many key events are already in the calendar, a lot of what will shape the news next year won’t be nailed down until after Trump takes office. Trump has already announced a series of controversial domestic policy plans and economic measures, while the new administration will have major implications for the conflicts in Ukraine and Middle East, and beyond.
